Alfredo Romero is the Director of Foro Penal. Foro Penal is a Venezuelan human rights organization that provides legal assistance pro bono to people subject to arbitrary detentions and their families. Not only that, but they have been fundamental in exposing human rights violations in Venezuela, and have recently traveled across the country disseminating a culture of human rights through music. We are organizing a screening at school of their recent documentary followed by a panel. Then we'll have an optional meeting outside school and continue the conversation informally. |
