Event Description The 18th annual Black Policy Conference (BPC) is a student-run conference at the Harvard Kennedy School. We are thrilled to host young people, graduate students, academics, community members, and practitioners from Friday, March 31, 2023, to Sunday, April 2, 2023, for conversations around policy and the Black community. At this years BPC, titled A Modern Day Green Book: Navigating the 21st Century with an Abundance Mindset, we will explore the impact of action, imagination, collaboration, and legacy and their impact on Black Americans. This year's panels are: -Weekend Warrior for Black Progress -Getting What Were Owed: Strategies for Pursuing Reparations through Policy, Collective Memory, and Advocacy -Fighting Racism Segregation in Advocacy and Government -Abundant Black Health -Hip Hop at 50 -Just and Abundant Black Wealth -Transnational Solidarity in Climate Justice
